Fundwaste is a Waste To Wealth company and commenced business in 2019. Sunerah is the name of their sustainability retail shop.

Fundwaste was established by Rashid Wahab, the Founder and CEO, who has a lifelong passion for technology and sustainability affairs.

At Fundwaste, we have built a powerful waste to wealth technology ecosystem. Our focus has always been to use the online channel to support businesses in the developing world with an effective outlet to showcase their products. Many of the businesses we work with, support their local communities with their innovations. 

We created a mobile app, "Fundwaste", to support waste pickers globally, to manage their payments, to ensure they get a fair price for their work. The irrecycled material is given to local innovative businesses to transform the material into retail products. These are part of the collection of products that we have on our site. Any money generated is used to re-invest back into supporting these waste pickers and their communities.

Fundwaste works alongside the Waste to Wealth Alliance (www.w2w-alliance.com). This alliance is comprised of CEOs in the developing world and is focused on supporting their businesses to collaborate and innovate, with each other, across markets. At Sunerah, we use the online shop to promote the sales of the goods produced in these businesses. The profits are returned back to the businesses to support their growth and job creation.
